Condition Behavior Standard

In a graded practical exercise, given a simulated non-critical patient,

the candidate will perform an initial assessment (primary survey).

The candidate correctly assesses and treats, within 1 minute, life-threatening conditions, including:

  1. level of responsiveness;
  2. breathing;
  3. circulation; and
  4. severe bleeding.
