In order to satisfy NVIC 04-14 Task 1.1.A , MMA students must:

STCW Competence	Knowledge, Understanding, and Proficiency
Take charge of a lifeboat during and after launch	SCRB-X1.1 Construction and outfit of survival craft and individual items of their equipment

Condition	Behavior	Standard
On a Coast Guard examination or in an approved or accepted course,	the candidate describes or selects the answer that describes the size and limitations of survival craft and where the individual items are stored. BOTH EXAM The assessment is for both PSC and PSC-Limited.	The candidate: Correctly identifies and lists the individual items required to be in the survival craft; and Describes the dimensions of the survival craft.
