On a vessel or in a laboratory, when asked to identify and describe shipboard pollution prevention procedures and associated equipment,	the candidate describes appropriate pollution prevention procedures and equipment.	The candidate’s description includes identification of appropriate equipment and its use associated with: Procedures for monitoring shipboard operations and ensuring compliance with MARPOL requirements are fully observed; and Actions to ensure that a positive environmental reputation is maintained.
