Condition Behavior Standard

When asked on a written examination to list and define the classes of fire,

the candidate lists and defines (or selects the answer that lists and defines) the classes of fire.


The candidate lists and defines (or selects the answer that lists and defines) five classes of fire:

  1. Class A - combustible solids;
  2. Class B - combustible and flammable liquids and gases;
  3. Class C - energized electrical equipment; and
  4. Class D - combustible metals.
