FF-X1.7 Actions to be taken upon discovery of fire on board ship

Condition Behavior Standard

When asked on a written examination to state the actions to be taken upon discovery of fire on board ship,

the candidate states (or selects the answer that states) the actions to be taken upon discovery of fire on board ship.


The candidate states (or selects the answer that states) all the following actions:

  1. Sound the alarm;
  2. Accurately report the location, type and size of fire;
  3. Personnel requiring rescue; and
  4. Actions taken so far, such as confining the fire.
