Condition Behavior Standard

When asked on a written examination to identify the signs and symptoms of shock development,

the candidate identifies (or selects the answer that identifies) the signs and symptoms of shock development.


The candidate identifies (or selects the answer that identifies) signs and symptoms of shock development, such as:

  1. Rapid and shallow respiration;
  2. Thirst, nausea and vomiting;
  3. Weak and rapid pulse; and
  4. Restlessness, excitement and anxiety.
