Condition Behavior Standard

On a or in a laboratory or workshop, given the indicated equipment,

the candidate demonstrates understanding of the dangers involved in an enclosed space entry.


The candidate describes possible scenarios which could occur during an enclosed space entry, including:

  1. Workers being overcome by fumes and lack of oxygen
  2. Rescuers not using proper safety equipment and being overcome by the hazard; and
  3. What stand-by personnel should do in trying to affect a rescue with proper equipment.
