Condition Behavior Standard

On a vessel or in a laboratory or workshop, when using indicated waste materials and equipment,

the candidate segregates, stores, and disposes of waste in accordance with local, federal and international regulations.

The candidate demonstrates knowledge concerning local, state, federal, & international laws concerning:

  1. Hazardous waste
  2. Non-hazardous waste
  3. Correct storage and disposal procedures; and
  4. Proper disposal of waste materials.
