On a vessel or in a laboratory or workshop, given various valves, |
the candidate assists an engineer with the operation and repair of valves in accordance with good engineering principles. |
The candidate disassembles, inspects, and reassembles a globe valve, a gate valve, and a check valve and makes repairs to them as necessary. |
