Demonstrate enclosed space safety procedures

In order to satisfy NVIC 14-14 Task 5.3.C , MMA students must:

STCW Competence	Knowledge, Understanding, and Proficiency
Apply occupational health and safety precautions	ABD-C2.1 Working knowledge of safe working practices and personal shipboard safety, including working in enclosed spaces

On board ship or in a laboratory,	the candidate demonstrates procedures designed to safeguard personnel working in enclosed spaces.	The candidate demonstrates procedures to safeguard personnel and the ship, including: Assessment of risk; Entry authorization procedures; General precautions; Hazards isolated; Ventilation; Interior and exterior illumination; Communications; Rescue and resuscitation equipment; Proper dress and safety equipment; and Entry crew briefed; a. Atmosphere safe for men and work to be performed; and b. Potential hazards.
