Search and Rescue

Condition

As part of a fire team, given conditions simulating an engine room fire on a vessel.

Performance requirement

Behavior Standard
The student will: During assessment, the student shall, at a minimum:
  • search a fire compartment while a fire is burning
  • locate and rescue a mannequin
  • remove it from the compartment

victim is successfully rescued

Note: This assessment supports KUP FF-X2.2, and is assessed in FF-0108 1/C Advanced Firefighting.
