ABD-D1.5 Knowledge of safe disposal of waste materials

On board ship or in a laboratory, when asked by a Qualified Assessor,

the candidate safely disposes of shipboard waste materials.

The candidate demonstrates the proper disposal of waste materials from:

1. Surface preparations;
2. Coating surfaces;
3. Lubricating;
4. Hand and power tool maintenance; and
5. Placing equipment in service (i.e., packaging).
