Course Description

Experience performing maintenance aboard the training ship. Work is assigned as required by the ship, and will typically include cleaning, surface preparation and painting; using hand tools; operation of hatches, watertight doors; moving and securing stores; and possibly working aloft or over the side.

This course consists of 12 hours per semester for seven semesters, for a total of 84 hours, or 10.5 sea days. CC-MANT is credited in the seventh semester when all hours are complete.
