Behavior	Standard
Don a self-contained breathing apparatus	Quickly don a SCBA using one or more of these methods: Off the wall Partner assist – demonstrate assisting and being assisted Coat swing or, Over the head achieve a proper fit of the unit with no loose or incorrect strap connections perform a user seal check
Use the self-contained breathing apparatus	demonstrate all of the following: Normal breathing; Changing the bottle; and Emergency breathing.

The student will:

During assessment, the student shall, at a minimum:

Don a self-contained breathing apparatus

Quickly don a SCBA using one or more of these methods:
- Off the wall
- Partner assist – demonstrate assisting and being assisted

achieve a proper fit of the unit with no loose or incorrect strap connections
perform a user seal check
