Condition
Given a rescue breathing manikin
Behavior
- Apply the emergency action steps: Check - Call - Care.
- Apply basic precautions to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
- Open the victim's airway and check for breathing for about 10 seconds.
- Give 2 rescue breaths.
- Give CPR; 30 compressions followed by 2 breaths, 5 cycles
Standard
- Actions are correct, in the proper sequence, and represent good first-aid practice
- Risk of harm to self and others is minimized
