Condition
On a vessel or in a laboratory, and using the surface, upper air and sea state analysis weather maps
Behavior
Determine the weather to be encountered during the next 24-hour period.
Standard
The candidate’s determinations of expected wind, sea and weather conditions (types and amount of cloud cover, rain and fog) are based on standard meteorological principles and agree with the assessor’s determinations based on the movement of the systems and fronts.
