Condition
Aboard ship or in workshop, given access to a compressed air system and other equipment needed to complete the task.
Behavior
Perform routine maintenance on ship's service or control air system, describing actions as they are being performed.
Standard
- Plan reflects proper sequence of actions, is complete, and conforms with manufacturer’s instructions and ship’s procedures;
- Drains moisture separators and air receivers; detects abnormal conditions, blows down compressed air strainers;
- Actions taken are correctly and completely described;
- Required steps taken are verified by assessor utilizing sample checklist as a guide;
- No safety or environmental violations are observed.
