Condition

Aboard ship or in workshop, given access to s feed pump and other equipment needed to complete the task.

Behavior

Perform routine maintenance on feed pump lube oil system, describing actions as they are being performed.

Standard

  1. Plan reflects proper sequence of actions, is complete, and conforms with manufacturer’s instructions and ship’s procedures;
  2. Checks lube oil sump level;
  3. Adds sufficient oil of the correct type to bring oil level to normal;
  4. Verifies flow of cooling water to feed pump lube oil cooler;
  5. Actions taken are correctly and completely described;
  6. Required steps taken are verified by assessor utilizing sample checklist as a guide;
  7. No safety or environmental violations are observed.
