Condition
In a workshop/laboratory or other safe working environment, given a hand die, proper tools, lighting, ventilation, and steel round stock of no less than 3/8 inch diameter.
Behavior
Plan, prepare and make an external thread using a hand die and describe actions as they are being performed.
Standard
- The plan and layout of the job are correct, in proper sequence, incorporating all safety considerations;
- Thread is made according to plan and axes of thread and stock are co-linear;
- Actions are described correctly as they are being performed;
