Condition
In a workshop/laboratory or other safe working environment, given proper tools, lighting, ventilation, and a thin steel plate of no less than 1/4 inch thickness.
Behavior
Plan, prepare and safely cut a 3” circular hole in the plate using oxyacetylene process and describe actions as they are being performed.
Standard
- The plan and layout of the job are correct, in proper sequence, and incorporate all safety considerations;
- All required equipment is set up and job is properly laid out;
- Hole is cut according to plan and within tolerance of ±1/8 inch;
- Actions being executed are described correctly as they are being performed;
- No safety violations are observed.
