Sea Term '97 San Juan, Puerto Rico
The Patriot State was docked next to some of the worlds largest cruise ships.
These ships increase the weekend population of San Juan by ten thousand people. Tourism is
a big part of Puerto Rico's economy along with the exportation of high technology equipment
and pharmaceuticals. Puerto Rico was a Spanish colony for over 400 years, this
can be seen in much of the local architecture.
