As of 0800 this morning, Patriot State was anchored at the eastern end of the Cape Cod Canal in Cape Cod Bay. She is making final preparations for entering port, Sunday morning 22 February 1998.

THE SCHEDULE:

The Ship will remain at anchor in Cape Cod Bay until approximately 0330, 22 February 1998.

At approximately 0330 22 February 1998, the ship will begin the transit of the Cape Cod Canal. She will tie up at Massachusetts Maritime Academy at 0530, 22 February 1998.

The Mess decks at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, will open at 0430 for coffee and pastries.

Patriot State will host reporters from the Cape Cod Times, The Bourne Enterprise, the Bourne Courier, and WBZ CHANNEL 4 NEWS the afternoon of Saturday 21 February. WBZ's coverage will air on the Saturday evening news.  The Cape Cod Times will publish stories in the Sunday 22 February edition.
